BIOGRAPHY
Welcome to Jamie's musical journey! Jamie was recognised for his perfect pitch shortly after being diagnosed with autism aged 3½. His musical studies began on the piano using the Suzuki method and continued under Professor Adam Ockelford, a leading expert in neurodiversity and music who famously taught blind musical savant Derek Paravicini.
Learning through listening and repetition suited Jamie perfectly, and his passion for music deepened when he took up the church organ in 2010, first at churches in Cambridge and then at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich. By 2014 he was showcasing his creativity with his own musical compositions while honing his skills in double bass and piano at Junior Trinity in Greenwich.
With a lot of hard work and dedication combined with an army of teaching assistants and therapists mustered by the love of his late mother, Jamie progressed through mainstream education and now holds a BMus with first-class honours from Goldsmiths, University of London. Today, he excels in electroacoustic / experimental music and soundscapes, creating captivating pieces for solo performances as well as for small groups and large ensembles. He is also highly skilled in both jazz and classical piano, strings, orchestra and organ, and brings a fresh perspective to any piece.
He is currently pursuing a Masters in Music at Kingston University, focusing on composition and orchestration for screen and ensembles while continuing to explore the realms of jazz and classical arrangement and performance.

ORGAN
Jamie has been captivating audiences with his church organ performances since 2010. A proud graduate of Goldsmith's, where he honed his skills with the organ as his principal instrument, he brings a unique touch to his music. Whether it's crafting intricate jazz compositions or elegant classical arrangements, Jamie's artistry shines through in every note.

Jamie was a dedicated student at Junior Trinity, Greenwich, from 2013 to 2021, where he honed his skills on the double bass. His journey through music education has shaped his passion and commitment to the art of performance. With years of training and experience, Jamie has developed strong foundation in musicianship that continues to influence his musical endeavours.
