COMPOSITIONS
Jamie began composing in 2014 and has since excelled in creating soundscapes and experimental music. With distinctions from Goldsmith's in performance studies and composing for screen, Jamie brings a unique perspective to each project.
His expertise includes composition and orchestration for soloists, small groups, and large ensembles, showcasing a versatile approach to music-making.
Orcadian Suite
Here Jamie plays his own Orcadian Suite, which he composed at the age of 16, at a teatime concert at Trinity Laban Junior Conservatoire.
The four movements are:
I. Eynhallow Sound
II. Stones of Stenness I
II. Kelpies
IV. Stroma
It is a beautiful piece which he composed by himself after inspiration from our holidays on Orkney.
